I get a lot of emails asking me to compare the mini KA08 to other popular clones. There's a lot of interest in this cute, tiny little phone but folks want to know if this one has all of the features of some of the other popular models (like the SciPhone.) So, in the following article, I'll compare the CECT KA08 with the i68.

How Much Does Size Really Matter To You?: Many people tell me that they want the smallest iPhone clone available - period. As long as the phone has most of the popular features, the size of the phone is going to win out every time. If this describes you, then you may well only be happy with the KA08 as it truly is the smallest. But, if you're just wanting a sleek, streamlined phone and ALL of the features are important to you, then the i68 can fit that bill. Here's a closer look. The K model is about the size of your driver's license. It's extremely small. The i68 on the other hand is a bit longer at 110 mm long. It also weighs more (95 grams vs 68 grams) than the mini.

Similarities: So, I've compared some of the differences, now I'll talk about the similarities. Both of these are dual sim phones that accept all GSM sim cards and networks. You aren't bound to any carrier or any network, which can be nice in this economic environment. You can also have two phone numbers or use one low cost talk plan on one slot and one low cost Internet plan on another. Speaking of the Internet, you can get online with either phone via WAP and GPRS. Both phones have Bluetooth, MP3 / MP4 players, digital camera / web cam (the i68 has a 1.3 MP and the KA08 has a 2.0 MP), FM radio, and ebook readers. Both are quad bands that allow you to change tracks by flicking or lowering your wrist (called "shake and tilt.")
